Fresh Awards: Egg Strategy and Coming of Age Win WMAs

The Web Marketing Association has awarded two of the the firm’s website projects: Egg Strategy won the Professional Services Standard of Excellence and Coming of Age won the Non-Profit Standard of Excellence.

Fresh Award: MUSE for COA (and a Trifecta for CGP)

The Museum of Jewish Heritage has been awarded a Bronze MUSE Award in Education & Outreach for the website Coming of Age in the Holocaust, Coming of Age Now, created by C&G Partners. The MUSE Award competition recognizes excellence in media produced by or for museums and is produced by the American Association of Museums (AAM). “It moved me to tears,” declared a judge during the jury meeting for this category.

This marks the third MUSE win or co-win for the firm in as many years, with The Star Spangled Banner Interactive Table winning a gold in 2009, and the The Voices of Liberty Exhibit at the Museum of Jewish Heritage receiving a silver in 2010.

Fresh Awards: Riverkeeper and Portico win WMA

The Web Marketing Association has tapped the firm’s Riverkeeper and Portico websites to receive awards for Outstanding Achievement in Web Development. Both sites were honored specifically for Non-Profit Standard of Excellence.

Fresh Award: Yankee Stadium Monograph wins GDUSA

Graphic Design USA has selected the firm’s Yankee Stadium monograph as a 2010 award winner. The book surveys the signs, stadium graphics, sculptural installations, and exhibits designed by C&G Partners for the new Yankee Stadium in New York City. Team history and facts are interspersed throughout, to complement the book’s imagery and serve as a guided tour of the home of one of the greatest teams in sports.

As the Yankees would agree, winning comes from great teamwork. Many thanks to the client, architects, designers, photographers, and fabricators who made this one possible.

Fresh Award: Voices of Liberty Wins MUSE Award

The firm’s Voices of Liberty installation at the Museum of Jewish Heritage has just won a MUSE award, the museum technology award from the American Association of Museums (AAM).

Voices of Liberty was also a 2010 finalist for the International Design Excellence Award (IDEA) of the Industrial Design Society of America. It will be noted in the 2010 Innovation Yearbook of Industrial Design Excellence and in the IDEA Galleries online.

The Voices of Liberty project was led by partner Jonathan Alger, with partner Emanuela Frigerio leading graphic design and associate partner Maya Kopytman leading the web portion of the project. The project was created in collaboration with technology design firm Potion.

Fresh Awards: OppenheimerFunds Wins 2009 STAR Award

OppenheimerFunds recently won a Best Advisor Multi-Media Ad Campaign 2009 Star Award for “Art of the Client Review.” C&G Partners executed a portion of the ad campaign online, creating an interactive experience that provides a clear introduction and overview of the program that utilizes bold graphics, instilling a sense of confidence needed during this turbulent economic time.

The STAR Awards is the premiere fund industry competition, now in its 13th year, and is presented annually by the Mutual Fund Education Alliance, a national mutual fund industry trade association.

Fresh Awards: 2 from WebAwards

The Web Marketing Association has honored two of the firm’s websites, both winning for Outstanding Achievement in Web Development. The Kress Foundation website won specifically for Non-Profit Standard of Excellence, and O’Shaughnessy Asset Management website won for Financial Services Standard of Excellence.

The current issue of SEGDdesign, the magazine of SEGD, is a special 25th issue that looks back on the success of the magazine, first launched 7 years ago. Since its inception, the magazine always has showcased the winners of the annual SEGD Design Awards; in the current issue, all those winners appear again in print. C&G Partners is honored that 7 projects led by the people of the firm have won over those past 7 years. Here is a recap.

Fresh Awards: Two from CTGBC

Update and correction: two projects with contributions by C&G Partners have been honored in the Connecticut Green Building Council’s 2009 Design Awards: Darien Library (awarded top honor “Most Intriguing”) by Peter Gisolfi and Associates, for which partner Steff Geissbuhler’s team created the signage; and GE by Perkins Eastman Architects, for which partner Keith Helmetag’s team created installations about sustainability and the GE brand.
