Images of Benjamin Franklin: As Seen by Himself and Others
This exhibit of Franklin documents, artifacts, and memorabilia, drawn from private collections in addition to the library’s own holdings, was created to celebrate the founding father’s 300th birthday. As the firm had previously designed the original permanent exhibits and case structures, the fabrication and installation demands of the exhibit were minimized, allowing the curators to focus the majority of their efforts on the exhibit’s scholarship and presentation.
