The Stadium’s architectural graphics program is a diverse treatment of signature media applications, sculptural treatments and graphic enhancements that are encountered throughout the site.
Key stops at the Stadium include ten exterior murals that showcase today’s star-studded squad, enhanced entry points at Gate 4 and Gate 6, and sculptural effects throughout. In the Great Hall, ten two-sided banners echo the arched facade portals with “dream teams” of players from the Yankees’ early triumphs depicted in black and white, while color images of more contemporary stars are depicted on the reverse.
Other signature elements include a full-sized bronze cast version of the eagle medallion, large-scale lenticular repoductions, oversized baseball card murals of Yankee greats, and a profusion of immersive, media-based and typographical displays that set the stage for the world’s greatest sports team to pursue new triumphs.
