C&G Partners, an established New York City multi-specialty design studio, seeks a Senior Producer to provide project management and content coordination for multi-specialty design projects. We are looking for a highly organized self-starter, able to communicate with partners, clients, designers, technical suppliers, and others to help deliver a high-quality design package on time and on budget. Our studio is unique: we undertake projects for culture and commerce that involve multiple kinds of in-house design specialists at the same time, from media designers, to architects, graphic designers, writers and more.

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities for this role include both project management and content development duties.

PM duties include scheduling and logistics for meetings, tracking and reporting on design progress, quality control, digitally filing and maintaining project assets, taking effective and brief meeting and teleconference notes, and helping ensure that projects are run effectively and prosperously. This is a client-facing role; the producer is the point person for the client, and project managers are responsible for building a positive relationship with the client. The successful candidate will be an important and equal part of the design team and will collaborate with multidisciplinary designers.

Content development responsibilities include:

  • Research and identification of resources for project subject matter
  • Brainstorm new content and storyline ideas with teams, and develop existing content
  • Maintain complex charts tracking types of content, responsibilities, progress, and problems
  • Image acquisitions process and artifact acquisition process

Requirements:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills are key to successfully collaborate with our teams and communicate with clients. Ability to multi-task, and manage multiple projects simultaneously. 4-year college degree or equivalent is required. Applicants must possess 5+ years of experience in a relevant position, or an educational degree in a relevant field.

Software:

Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, scheduling / Gantt chart software, standard communications software, web collaboration tools, FTP, etc. Experience in CAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and/or media production a plus.
