Kim Howell is a UX Designer and Project Manager whose specialty is taming complex problems into easily navigated solutions.
Kim has redesigned, improved, and managed large-scale websites for clients including the American Association for the Advancement of Science, Rockefeller University, Women’s Refugee Commission, Leo Baeck Institute, SmartHistory.org, and others.
As a former Communications Manager at the Women’s Refugee Commission, she managed digital strategy on a large scale. Her work involved web design, content strategy, project management, print projects, and social media. At WITNESS, she directed the nascent YouTube Human Rights Channel, curating global citizen journalism and ensuring it reached a maximum audience. In other roles there, she coordinated communications for the organization and managed various social media projects.
Kim has a Bachelor of Arts from Georgetown University and a Masters from New York University, both in psychology.
