A new permanent interactive exhibit for the Annapolis (MD) Maritime Museum, "Oysters on the Half Shell," led by partner Keith Helmetag, opened to the public this week. A tasty article in Hometown Annapolis appeared today. From the article: The exhibit focuses on the natural history of the innocuous bivalvecrossostrea virginicaand why it's so important to the health of the Chesapeake Bay. It also celebrates the cultural history of the people who worked in the once-thriving oyster industry, either harvesting oysters or shucking and packing them at McNasby's, which operated from 1919 to 1986. The C&G Partners team for this project, which has been years in the making, has included Keith Helmetag, Daniel Fouad, Mika Owens, Brandon Downing, Justine Gaxotte, and Bob Callahan.
