SEGD covered C&G's exhibit design for Celebrate San Diego! last week. Currently on view at the San Diego History Center, both the exhibition content and design reflect how being Jewish in San Diego is a unique experience.
Celebrate San Diego! The History & Heritage of San Diego’s Jewish Community opens next week, on Saturday, March 11, at the San Diego History Center. Designed by C&G Partners, the exhibition chronicles the contributions and experiences of Jews in San Diego from the mid-19th century until today through interactive installations, immersive media, interpretive graphics, and historic artifacts. A centerpiece of the project is custom lettering for the exhibition drawn by the firm.
Unveiled this week, the Allan Rosenfield Tribute Wall designed by C&G Partners commemorates the public health legend and founding dean of the renowned Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health. Along with Rosenfield's family, in attendance were fashion icon and amfAR chairman Kenneth Cole, former Planned Parenthood President Faye Wattleton, and others who shared the late dean's commitment to protecting women's health and public health worldwide. C&G was privileged to plan and design the project, for our client Clare Rosenfield. Of all our projects, it might have the smallest footprint, but definitely has the biggest heart.

This month, Hearst is celebrating 10 years of their iconic New York City headquarters—Hearst Tower—with the exhibition Building with History: The Exhibit, featuring work by tower architects Foster + Partners. Here at C&G, we are looking back at our milestone projects for this longtime client, include the Hearst Tower sign program; the interactive exhibition for Hearst's flagship publication Good Housekeeping; and a construction barricade that could be called the biggest magazine rack in the world.

Shakespeare Unauthorized, a provocative new exhibit designed by C&G Partners, is now on view at the Boston Public Library. Commemorating the 400th anniversary of Shakespeare’s death, the exhibition makes public the largest collection of the Bard’s work at any public institution. The project “pulls back the curtain on four hundred years of collaboration, confusion, and even literary deception that surround the plays, poems, and life of William Shakespeare.”

Russell Reynolds Associates (RRA), with more than 370 consultants in 46 international offices, is a global leader in executive search and leadership consulting. Since 2014, C&G Partners has partnered with RRA's expert marketing team to create event branding, print, media, physical decor and signage for three annual events. Although the events were on different continents with different themes, our approach was the same each time: develop a unique event theme and visual identity that ties to the RRA brand, deploy it as ubiquitously as possible, and thoughtfully conceive all applications large and small. This approach has been fostered by the collaboration between C&G and RRA's own expert in-house marketing team. Without their expertise, encouragement, and willingness to explore creative possibilities, we would not have been able to produce this work.

The Boston Globepreviews Shakespeare Unauthorized at the Boston Public Library, opening to the public on Friday, October 14. "C&G Partners, which designed the installation at the McKim Exhibition Hall, took its cue for the exhibit from the classic line from “As You Like It”: “All the world’s a stage/And all the men and women merely players,” according to the article by Cristela Guerra.
