C&G Partners developed an environmental graphics program for the NYC Landmarks Preservation Commission’s new offices, in collaboration with MBB Architects. The visual identity draws from LPC’s distinctive perforated approval stamp—to create a unified dot-pattern motif. This concept appears throughout the space: applied to glass conference rooms as privacy film referencing historic windows; used in large-scale color-halftone murals of iconic landmarks; and embedded into signage, where rooms are named for notable NYC architectural styles.

We also designed a cohesive framework for displaying landmark photography, consolidating a once-disparate collection into a unified visual system. A curated slide library installation and interpretive signage highlight a historic column—remnants of the site’s past as an Art Deco restaurant. The result reflects LPC’s civic mission while adding richness and texture to a modern office environment.
