C&G Partners has been retained by MasterCard to conceive a set of environmental installations around four themes: corporate heritage, employee pride, global citizenship and technology and innovation. The project is currently planned to have several phases.

Phase I (shown here) is an initial set of experiences in the main lobby of the headquarters building in Purchase, NY. Phase II will be an extension throughout that same campus.

Rather than program the vast main lobby with the standard fare of corporate timelines and interactive terminals of company facts, the approach here is to create spaces that the staff will actually use.

The functions range from a unique brainstorming space that makes that activity literally transparent to incoming visitors, to a shipping container with a sound studio inside it to enable collection of employee oral histories, to a temporarily parked mobile lab and recording studio that later roams the world seeking the best of the company’s innovative thinking.
