C&G; Partners’ exhibit Worked/Wild, which interprets the harshly beautiful landscape of the Adirondacks and its history at the Essex County Historical Society, recently received a Merit Award from Museumwise.
Museumwise, established in 1971, provides support, advice and training to historical societies, museums, historians, archivists, and other heritage organizations in New York State, and holds its annual awards to recognize significant achievements in the state’s regional museums.
Worked/Wild explores the dynamic environmental and social history of the landscapes and communities within the Adirondack Park Agency – America’s largest National Historic Landmark – and how the relationship between humanity and ecology have determined the area’s history and social fabric.
