This $1.5 million permanent exhibit is prominently displayed at NYU’s main library on Washington Square. The project involved a comprehensive interior enhancement of the gallery including new lighting, carpet, draperies and seating. Archival cases display precious manuscripts and paintings by Picasso, Matisse and Miro collected by the Library. Academic and sports memorabilia from the University are also exhibited. The project was designed and built in six months to celebrate the donor’s 100th birthday.
