When the facade of this block-long building required repair, the firm was enlisted to create a 500-foot construction barricade – History in the Making. Vintage photographs, illustrations and period maps, juxtaposed with historical and provocative quotes, interpret the rich history of this under-represented Manhattan neighborhood. The building’s owners received numerous compliments from residents and merchants, evidence that what is frequently a construction nuisance can be transformed, with a little invention and application, into an opportunity to enhance and increase awareness of a project or a property.
