The Society of Publication Designers (SPD) recently released the finalists for the 49th Annual Design Competition , and among them was one of our own: C&G designer Daniel Rodriguez. 
The SPD Competition is one of the most prestigious editorial design programs in the world. It recognizes the highest examples of design, photography and illustration excellence in both print and digital platforms. Daniel, a co-founder of Nomad, is a finalist in the “Tablet: Best Cover” category for “A Benicio Welcoming”. Daniel and fellow founder Nick got started because of their belief that publishing was too niche, too local, and not substantive enough. Their solution, Nomad for iPad, is available in 185 countries. Daniel is in good company.
